Was held the Official Meeting between AJJIF and the President of National Sports Committee of Russian Federation Mr. Fetisov. During this historic meeting Mr. Fetisov presented with a letter of gratitude and documentary film from the President of AJJIF Hanshi Alexey Kunin to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Was hosting First International Martial Arts Congress and Ju-Jitsu Seminar. The Congress had International Educational Conference with the collaboration of Russian Academy of Science and Education and Institute of Professional Education. On the second day was Press Conference and International Ju-Jitsu Seminar. This International Event was organized by AJJIF and Russian Government. This international Event was first of it's kind in Russia. International participants came from over 40 regions of Russia, USA, United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Ukraine. This International Martial Arts Congress was a big success and was organized parallel with the City of Kazan celebration of 1000 Anniversary.
